OBJECTIVE
Create branded, promotional content to boost the launch of Bethel University’s extension site at Grace Church.
SCOPE: Cinematography, Photography, Aerial Imagery, Graphic Design, Direct Mail Marketing
Cinematography
When we first began working with BUx at Grace Church, our main priority was to create branded testimonial videos for Grace to use as promotional content. We worked closely with Grace’s team to determine who needed to be interviewed, what their goals were with the video and what story they wanted to be portrayed. We determined that the most important part of this video was that people needed to be able to connect with it and envision themselves or their children attending BUx. With that in mind, we planned three interviews: one with a current student, one with a parent, and one with the program director. After planning for and filming the interviews, we got to editing and quickly found that there were just too many good things that each interviewee had shared. So, ultimately, we ended up providing a long form testimonial video and three shorter videos for social media.
Direct Mail Marketing
After the digital promotional materials were created and the website launched, we found an opportunity for some traditional marketing methods. We worked closely with Grace to design a postcard to be used in a direct mail campaign for prospective students. We defined the target audience and partnered with a local printing shop (thanks, Printing Partners!) to print and distribute the cards to everyone in our selected audience.
Photography
While BUx at Grace was working on building their website and creating promotional materials, we quickly found a need for branded photography. While we were setting up to film the interviews for the promo videos, we staged some photos with students and an instructor.
These photos have become a pillar in BUx at Grace’s brand. They’ve used this imagery for their website and other marketing materials.
Grace was also in need of some updated aerial imagery of their building, so we took to the sky! Our drone pilot grabbed some shots of the building from all angles.
